Help with HP Deskjet F4280 All In One?
I installed my All In One and it will not print things in its entirety. For example, I'll try to print an e-mail or maybe a coupon or recipe and give me the impression that the border with no text or images. I tried to reinstall the printer following the directions and advice of the people at HP, but nothing works. Second problem … scan images. Res easiest to do and it stopped working after canning only 11 images. Whenever I pressed the scan button on the button Power starts to flash. I tried to find an update online and ran the diagnostic test and still nothing. Can it Please help me? I'm not techy most people but this is really basic stuff and I've never had problems before. If it helps, I 'm running Vista on the beast (ugh!) if that makes any sort of things. Thank you in advance! I would appreciate any help and advice solve this problem.
I suggest you uninstall again. Go to the printers in the control panel, right-click the icon your printer and select Delete. Now physically disconnect the printer from the computer. Restart the computer. Insert the CD if included with the printer and reinstall the printer driver and other software included. Remove the CD and restart the computer once more. Now, reconnect the printer. Vista will recognize and install the printer. If the problem persists, you may have a faulty driver, dated of or inconsistent. I suggest you visit the HP website support section, find your printer model and download the latest driver for your Vista printer. Do not install the driver until you repeat the steps in the first paragraph. Obviously, you will not be using a CD, but installing the driver version from the download. Be sure to remove and unplug the printer as described above, install the downloaded file and then reconnect the printer driver. good luck
