Borders bookstores Why so sparing in their clearance sale?
I heard that many Borders bookstores are closing. They said they have a clearance sale and everything must go. It turns out that the borders near my work place is closing. I visit the shop and it is packed! And guess what, the liquidation sale is only a 20% discount. How absurd! I received awards borders coupons for 33%, 40% and 50%. Besides Amazon discount their books for a lot more than 20%. They can do better than 20%. Come. And the fact that the store is crowded just goes to show that people are going gaga on this rebate ridiculous. Why so sparing of their border clearance sale? And why people go crazy on a meager 20% discount?
thus, they are more or less going out of business, no sense in trying to give it away. I do not know if this is the case with boundaries, but some chain stores to sell all to be liquidated, so it can be a person, group, paid for all these books, and must ensure they get their money before the bulk discount.
