Car Audio Problem!?!?!?
Ok, i have had this amp and sub set up for about a year now and it has always been kinda iffy because the amp is more powerful than the sub, but it has worked fine up until recently. I now decides when to work, like it will not work for a week and then when i get in my car after work, it thumps away. then the next day it won’t work again. i have rewired everything once allready and am wondering if anyone has some insight into whats going on. i plugged my sub into my home theatre system and got some noise, so i think my woofer is okay, but how can i check my amp? the green light is still on even when it is not working. i am just getting frustrated. I have a 4 channel, 1200 watt max Sony Xplod amplifier and a 300 watt RMS 1200 watt max infinity 12″ sub.
Help?
i know i have a 4 channel amp, it was on clearance at Best Buy for CHEAP, so i bought it…
I’m trying to figure out why you have a 4-channel amp for one sub. Usually a 2-channel amps is the most used for one sub.
