What is the best off-site airport parking long term at JFK (Smartpark vs vs Avistar Airpark)?
I see the choices seem to be Avistar, Smart Park and Airpark. Avistar seems to be the oldest and, judging by the pictures Streetview, seems to be looking the most professionally. Has anyone used these lots and can tell me which is best (courteous, professional, security, etc.?) With online coupons, all prices appear to be similar. Thank you.
I can tell you from my experience (I used all) as Avistar, while they are a business long, I had some bad experiences. Once I got a ticket about a month after I stayed at Avistar stating that my car was parked in the street?? and not in their lot. I called and they have rejected and will not pay the ticket. I bothered receiving long and hard and show and they were eventually charged. If you browse the Web, you will hear stories about people being car stolen right out of Avistar lot. I stayed at Airpark time. ONCE. It was as dirty garage mechanics. In fact, I was dirt on my shirt. When I was leaving for Christmas I had heard SmartPark JFK. Rates were generally lower and everything is new. Stayed here three times this year and everything went very well. I hope this helps?!
